CM Yadav assured the families of victims of full support from the state government in this hour of grief and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased, Rs 1 lakh each to the seriously injured and Rs 50000 each to minor injured.
According to an official release, Rs 331.34 crore was given to 3,90,167 farmers impacted by excessive rainfall and floods, while Rs 322 crores were transferred to 4,94,605 soybean farmers hit by yellow mosaic disease and pest attacks.
"The accidents that occurred during the immersion of Durga in the villages of Jamli in Khargone and the Ingoria police station area near Ujjain are extremely tragic. I express my condolences to the bereaved families", the Chief Minister posted on X.
CM Yadav also extended greetings to the people of the state and the country on the occasion of Vijayadashmi, also known as Dussehra and urged the public to make a resolution to do only good things in life.
