Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated 'Vikramotsav 2024', 'Ujjaini Vikram Trade Fair' and a two-day 'Regional Industry Conclave 2024' in Ujjain district on Friday.
The main event will take place at the Kalidas Academy in Ujjain district and during the ceremony, CM Yadav will also distribute funds to the beneficiaries of the Ladli Bahna Yojana.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the PMNRF (Prime Minister's National Relief Fund) for the deceased's families of the Dindori road accident.
The accident occurred at Badjhar ghat in the district on Wednesday night. On the instruction of CM Yadav, MP minister Sampatiya Uike reached the spot and expressed grief over the incident.
"The news of several casualties in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Dindori district is extremely painful. I express my condolences to the bereaved family members. I pray that all the people injured in this accident get well soon," the President posted on X.
Dindori Collector Vikas Mishra said, "14 people died and 20 injured after a pick-up vehicle lost control and overturned at Badjhar ghat in Dindori. Injured are undergoing treatment at Shahpura Community Health Centre."
CM Yadav said, "The survey of all the farmers who have been affected by hailstorm and excessive rain should be done seriously and appropriate relief amounts should be made available to the farmers immediately. All the ministers, MPs and MLAs should monitor the survey."
