Taking to Twitter, the chief minister wrote "Efforts of Tripura Police is highly commendable. Their proactive participation in making Tripura Drug Free is giving boost to the vision of Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Kudos to your efforts once again...!"
"Around 150 students of Tripura are there. We are contacting them. I've called a meeting today. We are also in touch with the guardians. We've also started helpline numbers. I can say that the students are safe," Tripura CM said.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha spoke to his Manipur counterpart N Biren Singh over the phone on Friday and inquired about the situation in the violence-hit state.
"Government of Tripura has opened the following helpline numbers for providing support on a 24x7 basis to the residents of Tripura with respect to disturbance in Manipur," tweeted Tripura CM Manik Saha.

Following the appeal by the Chief Minister to donate blood to balance the scarcity in all the 11 government blood banks in the state, the blood donation camps are being organised in every part of the state by social organisations, NGOs, social clubs and political parties.
Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr Manik Saha also expressed his happiness and readiness towards hosting the international summit at an international standard.
The statue of the king was unveiled at the zero Milestone in Agartala's Kaman Chowmuhani which is next to the Maharaja Bir Bikram International Airport. On the occasion, zero milestone was also renamed as Bir Bikram Chowmuhani.
