Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Saha paid homage to Indian jurist and social reformer Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his 68th death anniversary at Ujjayanta Prasad premises in Agartala on Wednesday.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha chaired a review meeting on the celebration of Bharatiya Bhasha Diwas, set to be held for the first time in the state on December 11 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan in Agartala.
"Manik Saha is very religious and keeps attending almost all religious festivals and expressing his strong faith in God and his divine graces," the release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
"We could not give adequate respect to Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya, the architect of modern Tripura, in the way that he deserved," the Chief Minister said.
