"Congress Party is behaving in a manner that will hurt the sentiments of others, and also succumb to their pressure. If the BJP spoke against the SDPI and PFI, the Congress leaders are disturbed. This indicates how the grand old party is doing appeasement politics," said Bommai.
"We fight elections based on our programs, they (Congress) fight elections on their promises. It is not right to stir up caste, religion and communal sentiments unnecessarily in elections, this shows the appeasement politics of Congress," CM said.
"This taluk is denied development in the last 20 years. I have released a Rs 25 crore grant to the MLA of all taluk without making any difference. The Kundagol taluk had been given Rs 250 crore for development," he said.
