Delhi Chief Minister Atishi won from the Kalkaji assembly seat, defeating BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri. She thanked the voters for reposing faith in her but said, "it's not a time to celebrate but continue the war against the BJP" which is poised to form the next government in the national capital.
CM Atishi, candidate for Kalkaji, described the Delhi elections as a "battle between good and evil." She criticized the BJP and Delhi Police, urging voters to choose work and progress over "hooliganism."
Speaking to reporters, Atishi said, "In this battle of truth versus lies, I hope the people of Delhi will stand with the truth, work and defeat hooliganism."
