The Central government, through the Ministry of Law and Justice, on Monday approved the transfer of five judges to the Delhi High Court. Acting on the recommendations of the Supreme Court Collegium, the Ministry issued formal notifications for their appointments.
The notification, issued under clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, stated that the President has approved their appointments for a two-year term, effective from the date they assume office, in order of seniority.
