"Six people including two Home Guards and four civilians have died in the incident. 116 people have been arrested till now. They have been taken on remand. Those found guilty will not be spared. We are committed to the safety of the public,” Khattar said today.

The Myanmar military has announced clemency for imprisoned democratically elected civilian leaders Aung San Suu Kyi and President Win Myint. Both have been incarcerated since February 2021 coup with Suu Kyi having been convicted of 19 offences that carried a total prison sentence of 33 years
"A civilian Antonov plane today crashed in Port Sudan Airport as a result of a technical failure, leading to the death of 9 people including 4 military personnel. One child survived the crash," the Sundanese Army said in a Facebook post.
