Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan chaired the apex level tri-services financial conference for Armed Forces at Manekshaw Centre in Delhi on Monday.
Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan is scheduled to chair an apex level tri-service financial conference on August 5, 2024 at Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi.
Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan on Thursday said that the Indian Armed Forces are taking multiple initiatives to maintain an edge over adversaries, and are improving warfighting doctrines, strategies, and concepts in response to perceived threats.
"The form of war is transforming rapidly due to technological advancements and the country's armed forces will have to be ready to accept this change," said CDS Chauhan.
Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured that the creation of Theatre Commands was on track, the Defence Ministry has identified three locations in Lucknow, Jaipur and Thiruvananthapuram as their headquarters.
