Chhattisgarh DY CM Vijay Sharma criticized Congress for not conducting a caste census during its tenure. He pointed out that despite Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, and Manmohan Singh's long terms in power, they never implemented the caste census but Congress now seeks credit for it.
Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao on Monday slammed Congress over the caste census and said that they always opposed the issue when they were in power. He said that Congress is now trying to take credit and the people of the country know their policy.
