Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) temporarily suspended flight operations for around 66 min due to low visibility and gusty winds and operations resumed at 5.03 pm, said an official statement from Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL).
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 1468 grams of cocaine worth around Rs 15 crore from a Cote D'ivore national, a West African country, after he arrived at Mumbai airport, as per the authorities.
Sharing details, the Mumbai police said, "A female employee working at Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Terminal-1 received a call from an unknown number about the bomb threat."
According to a press release, the airport also accommodated 324,972 Air Traffic Movements (ATMs), recording a 12 per cent year-on-year growth rate compared to FY 2022-23 (290,387 ATMs).
