Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his wife Kalpana Soren offered prayers to the setting sun at the Hatnia pond on the occasion of Chhath festival 2023. He wished for prosperity in the state on this occasion.
All designated ghats across the city have been decked up, and security measures have been ensured. The Delhi Government has set up more than 1,000 ghats and artificial ponds across the city for the devotees.
"Notably, this incentive plan will be in effect for a total of 11 days. Moreover, the Transportation Department has cancelled holidays for all drivers, conductors, officers and deputy officers during festivals like Diwali, Bhaiya Dooj, and Chhath," according to a press release from the Chief
