The accused identified as Mahamed Sharif (41) was arrested in Karnataka on January 19. He fled without paying his outstanding bill worth over Rs 20 lakhs to the hotel.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) minister Nawab Malik's son Faraz Malik was booked by Special Branch Office over cheating and forgery case on Wednesday.
The law will be known as the 'Anti-copying law' which will punish the candidates getting involved in cheating during recruitment examinations and a 'ban of 10 years' will be imposed on them.

The agency said multiple first information reports (FIRs) related to fraud and cheating in the name of investment in real estate projects were registered by the Karnataka Police.
