Making headway in the ongoing Dantewada blast investigation, Bastar Police released the photograph of the Aranpur blast's mastermind and also announced the cash reward for naxals indulged in the incident.
German ambassador to India, Philipp Ackermann on Wednesday condemned the attack on security personnel in Chattisgarh's Dantewada district which killed 11 people, including 10 District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel.
Confirming the incident, Chattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, "There is such information with us. It is very saddening. My condolences to the bereaved families. This fight is in its last stage. Naxals won't be spared."
"Durg Range Inspector General Anand Chhabra on Friday announced a reward of Rs 30000 for the information/inputs leading to the arrest of those involved in the killing of the father-son duo at village Biranpur in Bemetara," the official statement said.
"The accused identified as Palash Chandel, who was absconding for around two months, was arrested on April 6 and later released on bail," Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anil Kumar Soni said.
