Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat offered prayers at the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir in Pune on Tuesday on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Amidst the commencement of the ten-day-long festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi, devotees were observed reverently transporting idols of Lord Ganesha aboard a local train at Mumbai's Dadar railway station.
The Goa Governor in his message stated that Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most important festivals widely celebrated with great enthusiasm, fervour and joy in our country.
