Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday congratulated the scientists of ISRO for the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the South pole of the lunar surface.
US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti congratulated India, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and their entire team as Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the Moon.
As the lander module of the Chandrayaan-3 made a soft landing near the South pole of the moon, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday shared images of the lunar surface from Vikram during the descent.
Taking to social media platform X, formerly called Twitter, the Indian Space Research Organisation said, "India is on the moon. Appreciations and thanks for all the contributions from India and abroad to this ISRO-turned-National endeavour called Chandrayaan-3."
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday shared the image of the site of the lunar surface, where Vikram, the lander module of Chandrayaan-3, landed.
"Aditya L1's mission to study the Sun will be launched soon. We're planning to launch it in the first week of September. Everything is going as per the plan. This launch will go to an elliptical orbit and from that it will travel to the L1 point which will almost take 120 days," S Somanat
After watching live telecast of moon landing of Vikram lander, President Droupadi Murmu conveyed her congratulatory message to ISRO and everyone associated with Chandrayaan-3 mission.
As Chandrayaan-3 successfully lands on the moon, Maldives' Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid on Wednesday congratulated India for the feat and said that history has been created.
