The Indian Space Research organisation on Tuesday put out a 3-dimensional ‘anaglyph’ image of the Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander from the south pole of the Moon.
On the upcoming Gaganyaan mission, the Director said, “Gaganyaan is a prestigious and challenging program. We will take the scientists in the launch vehicle to the Earth's lower orbit, at 350- 400 lakh kms, and place them in the orbit for a couple of days, before bringing them back safely.”
The exhibition installed panels explaining the objectives, insights, and trajectory of the mission. Visuals of the centre show viewers and science aspirants enthusiastically watching the exhibition and listening to the mission in the planetarium.
On August 23, India took a giant leap as the Chandrayaan-3 lander module successfully landed on the Moon’s South Pole, making it the first country to have achieved the historic feat and bringing to an end the disappointment over the crash landing of the Chandrayaan-2, four years ago
