The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday released new policies for Team India, making it "mandatory" to participate in domestic matches to remain "eligible" for selection in the national team and for the central contracts.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its new list of centrally contracted players, reducing the number of contracts from the previous cycle. In the previous term, 20 players were given central contracts for two years, with performance reviews set for the end of the 2023-24 season.
The list was announced on Friday and saw a total of 29 players getting the central contracts. This included seven two-year contracts, 19 annual contracts and three development contracts. as per ICC.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday also awarded the men's central contracts for 2024-25 to 25 cricketers, which have been effective since 1 July 2024.
