BJP MP and National President of BJP OBC Morcha, Dr K Laxman on Saturday, spoke about Rahul Gandhi's statement that caste census will be conducted in Congress-ruled states.
Kavitha also demanded an explanation from Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the "failure" of their government to conduct a caste census despite ruling for more than 55 years.
As the winter session is scheduled to kick off on November 25, Azad Samaj Party (ASP) National President Chandrashekhar Azad said that the government should discuss on issues like youth employement, health policies, edudcation and caste census.
"We have a government in Telangana and we have a government in Karnataka. We are doing a detailed exercise, a public exercise where we are meeting with different stakeholders and we are preparing the questions of the caste census through a public discussion," Rahul Gandhi said.
