Russia begins clinical use of cell-based technology for eardrum repair

Sechenov University in Moscow has started new eardrum repair procedures using tissue made from patients' own cells. The technique, considered the first clinical use of a CBMP for tympanic membrane regeneration, is faster than conventional surgery and has shown positive early results.
