In a live televised address Wednesday night that ended just moments ago Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined the reasons for the continuation of Israel's "Operation Shield and Arrow" against the Islamic Jihad terror organization's bases and infrastructure in Gaza.
The delegation departed for Jeddah on Friday evening. The development came after both the army and the rival paramilitary Rapid Support Forces said they will only discuss humanitarian ceasefires and not hold negotiations on ending the conflict in Sudan.

Trilateral Mechanism the Quad on Sudan released a joint statement on Sudan welcoming the announcement by the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces to extend the current ceasefire for an additional 72 hours.
