After the clashes broke out between two groups in Bihar's Motihari, Superintendent of Police of Motihari Kantesh Kumar Mishra on Tuesday said that a case had been registered against the miscreants.
The accused identified as Mohammad Javed who was wanted in the Narco terror case registered at Poonch police station, was arrested from Delhi, the official added.
Talking about the development into the case, Municipal Commissioner of Mathura-Vrindavan Municipality Anunaya Jha said that a notice has also been served to almost 60 dilapidated houses for repairing them.
Patwari along with his supporters were seen putting the posters at the pillar of advertisement hoarding in Rajwada area in the city on Sunday. Meanwhile, a few congress leaders also put the posters on the vehicles of municipal corporations.
The accused is posted as a senior assistant to an executive engineer in the PHE department, and has been suspended from his post with immediate effect after the incident came to light, officials said
According to the Maddur police, locals rushed to the spot and rescued the victim from the clutches of assailants, who managed to flee from the spot after the incident.
A case was registered by the Delhi police against unknown persons under relevant sections of the IPC on Saturday after 23 students from Nigam Pratibha Vidyalaya, located in Delhi's Inderpuri, were hospitalized on Friday following vomiting, said the police.
The incident occurred near Purani Sabji Mandi, Kailaras locality in the district at around 11:30 pm on Wednesday. The incident has been captured in the CCTV camera installed near the spot.
Speaking to the reporters in the state capital, Mishra said, “A case has been registered against unknown persons in the matter. All the CCTV footage has been collected and it is being checked. Action will be taken against those who are found guilty.”

The incident took place under Moti Nagar police station limits in the district on Thursday. A CCTV video of the incident has also come to light which went viral on social media.
