A shocking case of molestation involving a minor girl has been reported in the Buddha Colony area of Bihar's Patna, just 500 meters away from the local police station, said the police. The accused, a stationery shop owner, allegedly harassed the girl.
The case was registered at the Phulpur police station following a complaint lodged by Guddi Devi, whose 15-year-old daughter was allegedly enticed with money and taken to Thrissur (Kerala) with the intent of allegedly forcing her to change religion. The incident took place on May 8.
According to police, the incident occurred in the Khyala B Block locality. Preliminary investigation suggests that a quarrel broke out between two friends, during which one allegedly attacked the other with a knife.

Kukumina Das, Registrar of Fakir Mohan University, on Sunday condemned the alleged self-immolation attempt by a female in Balasore, saying that those who were involved should be punished as per the law.
Das slammed the state administration and asked why the incident took place and why she attempted suicide. The Odisha Congress president stated that the victim belongs to Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and had filed her complaint back in June.
In a letter, the Odisha Congress said the committee will visit Balasore and inspect the incident site and submit a report to the Pradesh Congress Office.
The accused driver, identified as Utsav Shekhar, has been granted bail by the local police station in the incident that took place in the early hours of July 9.
