As per the Election Commission data Chandhirakumar secured a total of 1,15, 709 votes defeating NTK party candidate MK Seethalakshmi by a margin of 91,558 votes.
Khan won against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Manish Chaudhary by a margin of 23,639 votes, while All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) candidate Shifa Ur Rehman was third, getting 39,558 votes.
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), BJP leader Shikha Roy received 49,594 votes while Bhardwaj got 46,406 votes. Congress candidate Garvit Singhvi, on the other hand, merely garnered 6,711 votes.
"BJP gave a huge responsibility to Satish. Malviya Nagar's condition had deteriorated and we were assured that the people here will vote for BJP... Now development will speed up in Delhi... I thank PM Modi for showing faith in all of the party's candidates," Aarti Upadhyay told ANI.
The EC data shows that the BJP candidate got 30,088 votes, whereas the AAP chief got 25,999 votes while Congress' Sandeep Dikshit, also contesting from the same seat, showed a dismal performance, getting only 4,568 votes.
Sirsa also represented the constituency in the 2017 Delhi by-elections. However, in the 2020 Delhi Assembly polls, Manjinder Sirsa lost Rajouri Garden seat to AAP's same candidate, Chandela.
