A day after Bharatiya Janata Party released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday held a high-level meeting with the party's top brass in New Delhi.
With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) giving tickets to 52 new faces in its first list of candidates for the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections, the party's national general secretary CT Ravi on Wednesday said the BJP stand apart from other parties as it keeps on experimenting.
BJP on Tuesday released the first list of candidates for 189 seats out of 224 seats for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections with 52 new candidates getting tickets.
Congress released its first list of seven candidates for the upcoming Shimla Municipal Corporation Election on Tuesday afternoon. "Today we have released our first list of seven candidates and list of candidates for remaining 27 wards will be released by tomorrow evening, " said Chauhan.
"No one would have come to listen to Bommai, JP Nadda and there wouldn't have been much crowd at PM's events or Amit Shah's. Seats would have remained vacant. BJP is panic-stricken", MP Surjewala said.
Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader BS Yediyurappa on Friday said that the party will soon finalise the list of candidates for the State Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on May 10.
