The Bishnupur constituency of West Bengal will witness a face-off between former couple Sujata Mondal (TMC) and Saumitra Khan (BJP) in the Lok Sabha polls.
The second meeting of the Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) concluded here in the national capital on Monday night, with the names of approximately 90 candidates being finalized for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, sources said.
"TMC (Trinamool Congress) has selected candidates from those individuals who are available to them. Senior leaders of TMC are corrupt, and new people are not joining the party. They have to bring in candidates from Bihar, Gujarat, etc. This is the current situation of TMC," Dilip Ghosh said.
