Since shooting down the Chinese spy balloon off the coast of South Carolina on February 4, the United States has shot down three more unidentified flying objects, two in US airspace and one in Canadian airspace.
The operation marks the third day in a row that an unidentified object was shot down over North American airspace. An unidentified object was shot down over northern Canada on Saturday. On Friday, an unidentified object was shot down in Alaska airspace by a US F-22.
"I ordered the takedown of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. North American Aerospace Defense Command shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian & US aircraft were scrambled & a US F-22 successfully fired at the object," tweeted Trudeau.
