Bharatiya Janata Party leader Shehzad Poonawalla on Monday came down heavily on Rahul Gandhi alleging that the Congress leader has sought the intervention of foreign countries into India's affairs and dubbed his act as a "Betrayal of Bharat" in the 75th year of the country's Independence.
"Be it foreign friends, agencies or foreign shores, he is leaving no stone unturned to defame India. It seems he has taken up the job of defaming India on foreign land in a bid to hide his own failures. This is being done in a pre-planned manner," Thakur said.
BJP MP Vivek Thakur on Monday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over the Cambridge row and accused him of being an "agenda carrier" of another country.
