The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), in a step towards fostering international cooperation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAI Bahrain, the National Audit Office, Kingdom of Bahrain, in Manama.
The agreement aims to enhance collaboration and exchange of expertise in the field of auditing between the two countries' Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).
The visit aimed to deepen discussions on the functioning of the respective Supreme Audit Institutions of both nations and explore avenues for collaboration.
This conference which will be held from February 28 to March 1, 2024, brings together representatives from Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of ten countries: Georgia, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Poland, South Africa, and Uganda, with India hosting.
This recognition underscores India's commitment to the highest standards of external audit and its active participation in shaping the global audit landscape.
