A report of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) was presented at a Cabinet meeting which was held at the residence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
The Uniform Civil Code Bill will be brought for the approval of the Uttarakhand Cabinet after the completion of legislative work on the UCC report, said sources in the government.
As per the release, "Under the new film policy, the subsidy for those shooting in Uttarakhand for films in 22 languages included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution has been increased from Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 3 crore."
