"The CEO uploaded the results of 4 rounds within 10 minutes of the Union Minister's phone call. BJP is serious about the CEO's behaviour in announcing the results of the Munugode by-elections," an official statement said.
Telangana BJP leader P Sudhakar Reddy on Saturday exuded confidence that his party will win the Munugode by-poll despite the fact that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) poured money like water for luring voters.
The polling for the by-polls will take place on December 5 and the votes will be counted on December 8, coinciding with the result dates of the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.
Assembly bye-elections were held in seven vacant seats spread across the states of Maharashtra, Haryana, Bihar, Telangana, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
"In Marriguda, two groups gathered and alleged against each other that they are not from the same village. Immediately the police intervened and dispersed the two groups. The situation is under control now," Nalgonda SP Rema Rajeshwari said.
"If Rahul Gandhi wants to do political suicide, he can, I cannot do that by being in Congress. Congress has no political future. Rahul Gandhi is conducting the padyatra (Bharat Jodo Yatra) to save his own reputation," Kuldeep Bishnoi said.
Bharatiya Janata Party is in a fierce contest with regional parties such as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the Samajwadi Party (SP), and the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the Assembly bypolls in seven constituencies spread across six states.
