Mumbai's Borivali police on Wednesday raided a fake call centre located in Gorai and arrested a female operator and four telecallers who used to sell libido-enhancing drugs.
NCB Mumbai has busted an inter-state drug trafficking syndicate supplying drugs in Dharavi, Mumbai, wherein a total of illicitly diverted 1407 CBCS bottles (140 kgs) and 6000 Nitrazepam tablets (3.6 kgs) were seized from Mumbai, Thane & Navi Mumbai in multiple on-field operations.
Officials of the Government Railway Police, Mathura, busted an interstate gang and arrested the kingpin, involved in printing fake currency notes with machines imported from China.
The Mumbai Police busted a gang allegedly involved in making fake Aadhar and PAN cards and arrested one person in connection with the matter from the Goregaon area, said police on Wednesday.
Mumbai Police on Tuesday apprehended a gang of fraudsters accused of duping traders, by impersonating as food safety officers, police sources informed.
The case was registered after a 29-year-old model complained to the police that she was duped on the pretext of doing "bold" scenes for a web series meant for foreign clients.
"The police team recovered 13 mobile phones, 4 laptops, passports of different countries and three internet routers from them. The four accused are from different countries in Africa namely Zambia, Ghana, Namibia and Uganda," said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Cyber Police Balsingh Raj
According to an official statement, the Delhi Police recovered 15 semi-automatic pistols with five spare magazines (a total of 20 magazines) and seven single-shot pistols from the arrested trio.
