Italian officials have initiated the investigation in the bus disaster near Venice on Wednesday that left at least 21 people dead, including two children, reported CNN.
The bus was travelling from Venice to nearby Marghera and was “full of people returning home from work,” Venice mayor Luigi Brugnaro told state media RAI.

The sight-seeing tour bus crashed into the back of an MTA express bus on East 23rd Street and First Avenue in Manhattan at about 7:15 pm (local time) on Thursday.
In a statement, police said that initial inquiries indicated 10 people had died, with 11 people taken to hospital via helicopter and road. Furthermore, 18 passengers escaped unhurt.

The incident occurred on Saturday morning at 6:50 am, police said. So far, no casualty or injury to anyone has been reported in the incident, police said.
