Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday arrived at the parliament to attend the Budget session and asserted that she has "not much expectations" from the Union Budget 2026-27.
Additonally, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KP Maurya voiced similar sentiments, stating that the Budget will be a step towards building a "Viksit Bharat".

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Sunday arrived in Parliament ahead of the Union Budget 2026-27, which will be presented today by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The Minister also praised the Centre's efforts in providing significant funds to Uttar Pradesh under the 'Special Assistance to States' scheme, saying that the state is utilising these funds effectively.
