Prime Minister Narendra Modi's landmark visit to Brunei marks a significant milestone in the 40-year-old diplomatic relationship between the two nations. The visit is a testament to the growing friendship and cooperation between India and Brunei.
In an interview with ANI, Alok Amitabh Dimri said that PM Modi's visit is historic in many ways as both nations have been civilizational neighbours. He also elaborated on influence of Indian culture in Brunei.
Speaking whether we can expect anything between India and Singapore semi-conductors' cooperation during PM Modi's upcoming Singapore visit, Mazumdar said that India is keen to get into this area and wants to cooperate with Singapore
"Defence is another important pillar in our bilateral cooperation. We have an MoU on Defence which was signed in 2016 and has since been renewed in 2021. It provides a framework for our collaboration that covers regular exchanges at high levels, naval and coast guard ship exchange visits,
"Continuing my engagements in Brunei, visited Belait district and interacted with Indian community. Known for its oil and gas, Belait hosts good number of Indians, who contribute significantly to the economy and energy security of Brunei," MoS Muraleedharan tweeted on Wednesday.
