Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) alleged that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is once again misusing thousands of crores of public money and diverting it to his benami company.
The Telangana government on Wednesday cancelled DSP Praneeth Kumar's promotion, citing his alleged involvement in a phone-tapping incident during the BRS government's tenure in the state.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy claimed that it was the KCR rule which had arrested several Telangana activists, including one of the noted Telangana leaders, Professor M Kodandaram, during the Telangana movement by breaking down the doors of their homes.

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) on Monday criticised the police over what he called "high-handed actions" in the ongoing investigation into the alleged phone-tapping case.

"KCR is the man who fought for Telangana. He is the most senior politician in Telangana. He ruled Telangana for 10 years as one of the best chief ministers in this country. Unfortunately, he is being questioned as a witness in a so-called tapping case," RS Praveen Kumar said.
KTR launched an attack on the state government, saying, "Ever since the Congress party assumed office in Telangana, all that they have done is nothing but diversion, subversion and perversion."
On January 30, the SIT probing the phone-tapping case issued fresh notices to KCR. Several BRS leaders, including KCR's son, KT Rama Rao, and nephew, T. Harish Rao, were earlier questioned in connection with the case.
