Meanwhile, addressing the roundtable on 'Reimagining Urban Mobility' at the World Economic Forum (WEF) CII conference in Davos on Tuesday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy outlined his vision for transforming Hyderabad into the world's best city in terms of urban mobility.
Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC Kavitha, lashing out at Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, said that the constitution cannot be saved by "roaming around with the book" or saying "Samividhan Bachao."
"If any political party has thought about farmers, then it is Congress, and our history proves that...BRS is anti-poor, anti-farmer, pro-rich, that is how they function. So nowadays when the Telangana government brings out pro-poor policies, how will they understand?," Neelima told ANI.
"But I have asked the same question to ACP and to ED as well...Where is the case here? If some money was transferred to a place then that account is there, so where is the fraud and corruption? If all the money is safe then where did the laundering happen?" KTR said.
Congress leader G Madhusudan Reddy has questioned Bharat Rashtra Samithi Working President KT Rama Rao's (KTR) involvement in the Telangana Formula E case, asking why the Supreme Court rejected his petition if he didn't do anything wrong.
As this happened, seven top leaders of the BRS have been placed under house arrest. The top leaders include BRS working president Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), Harish Rao and RS Praveen Kumar.
A heavy police deployment can be seen outside KTR's residence in Hyderabad's Gachibowli. This comes following the arrest of another BRS MLA Padi Koushik Reddy yesterday.
