A total of 17 people lost their lives in the fire incident that broke out at a building at Hyderabad's Gulzar House near Charminar on Sunday morning, as per Telangana Fire Disaster Response Emergency and Civil Defence.

A fire broke out in a building at the Gulzar House near Charminar in Hyderabad on Sunday morning, as per officials. A total of 11 fire engines were dispatched to the spot to bring the blaze under control.
"The incident happened around 12 in the Mohan Hotel. A fire broke out in the hotel's kitchen on the ground floor. 17 rooms of that hotel were occupied... No casualties have been reported...The fire has been extinguished," Kumar told ANI while at the site.
