The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended a Parcel Clerk at Rourkela Railway Station for allegedly accepting a bribe in exchange for processing freight bookings on priority.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) apprehended the Rampur Sub-area Manager, Hirakud Bundia Mines, Mahanadi Coalfield Limited (MCL) located in the Jharsuguda district of Odisha and a private person on August 20 while accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from the complainant.
The police official, earlier posted at Sohana police station and currently serving at Kharar police station in Mohali district, was apprehended as part of the Bureau's ongoing crackdown on corruption.
