Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday handed over the ceremonial gavel of the Group of 20 presidency to Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at the G20 summit here
PM Modi recalled his meeting with the Brazilian President in Johannesburg on the sidelines of the recently held BRICS Summit. India will pass on the presidency of the G20 to Brazil.

After their meeting, Jaishankar tweeted, "Great to meet FM Mauro Vieira of Brazil on the sidelines of the BRICS meeting. Discussed advancing our cooperation in the BRICS, IBSA, G20 and UN frameworks. Look forward to working together on deepening our strategic partnership."
