Jan Suraaj chief Prashant Kishor was detained by the Patna Police in the early hours of Monday. He was sitting on an indefinite hunger strike seeking action against the alleged BPSC exam paper leak.
Kishor was responding to the remarks made by the former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister. He said that Yadav should have led the protest instead of him because he remains the leader of opposition (LoP).
Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor backed BPSC protesters, urging the government to address student concerns. He criticized the re-examination as an admission of irregularities and said that the Chief Minister must meet students to resolve the issue.
"The BPSC protests were started by the non-serious candidates. Since the examination was cancelled, we had to take their re-exam anyway and we had been trying to get it done immediately.." Singh said speaking to ANI.
The re-examination of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) was held on Saturday at the Bapu Pariksha Parisar after the examination was cancelled earlier.
