Stepping up its attack on the Centre government over its handling of the border issues with China, Congress MP Manish Tewari on Friday again quizzed the government about the incident that took place between Chinese soldiers and Indian troops on the LAC on December 9.
"Karnataka and Maharashtra CMs' talks with Union HM Amit Shah should be made public. We'll support it if the state government brings proposals on the border issues," said Ajit Pawar.
"Our protest rally on December 17 will focus on the Maharashtra-Karnataka border issue, insult of Maharashtra's icons by the Governor and BJP leaders and other issues. It'll be a silent and peaceful march. We're yet to get permission for it," said NCP leader Ajit Pawar.
"Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is recognizing its unsung heroes and they are being given a place in the curriculum," said CM Pema Khandu.
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Friday said that the government should discuss the border issues between India and China instead of reciting about G20.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday said that the firing incident that happened along the Assam-Meghalaya border because of a certain local issue and it does not have any relation or problem with the broader landscape of the Assam-Meghalaya relationship.
