A five-judge Constitution bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices AS Bopanna, MM Sundresh, JB Pardiwala, and Manoj Misra will hear the case on November 7 which was originally listed for hearing on October 17.
A bench comprising Justices AS Bopanna and MM Sundresh issued notices to the Central government and the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in response to Ramdev's plea.
A bench of seven-judge headed by the Chief Justice of India started to re-evaluate its 1998 judgement. Other judges on the bench are Justices AS Bopanna, MM Sundresh, PS Narasimha, JB Pardiwala, Sanjay Kumar, and Manoj Misra.
