On the morning of May 1, Delhi police received information regarding the presence of a bomb in Dwarka's Delhi Public School. According to the Delhi Police, information was received regarding a bomb in Delhi Public School, Dwarka.
Following the threat call, a case has been registered against an unknown person at Gandhi Nagar police station based on the complaint of the airport's Chief Security Officer, Vishal Kumar Sharma.
Sharing details, the Mumbai police said, "A female employee working at Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Terminal-1 received a call from an unknown number about the bomb threat."
The Delhi High Court recently sought a detailed status report from the Delhi government on a hoax bomb call incident in private schools. The High Court has also warned that if the status report is not filed, the joint secretary-level officer will be present in court.
Two persons were arrested by the Delhi police for allegedly saying that they were carrying a 'nuclear bomb' during frisking at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport on April 5, officials said on Monday.
According to official, the hoax call of bomb threat was received at the airport at around 5.15 am regarding a flight from Delhi to Kolkata which was scheduled to depart from IGI Airport.
