The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday cracked down on multiple locations in four states as part of its efforts to uncover the entire conspiracy behind the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case and to identify the other conspirators involved in handling the accused from abroad.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the trial court proceedings against Sameer Kulkarni, one of the accused in the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case, while hearing his plea that the sanction taken to prosecute him under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act was not proper.
The blast occurred in the scrapyard located near Khajri Khiriya bypass under the jurisdiction of Adhartal police station in Jabalpur district at around 12 pm on April 25.
