Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu on Saturday said that the Air India Flight crash that left 241 people dead have shaken the entire nation.
"It is the most unfortunate and tragic event. It has shaken the faith and confidence of the people. We will learn further information after the evidence, such as the black boxes, is probed. An inquiry will be conducted, and proper action will be taken," Moily told ANI.
In the wake of the tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar expressed deep concern over the incident, calling it "one of the biggest tragedies in recent times" and urging the Union Government to take serious cognizance of the matter.
Speaking about the aftermath of the crash, CM Saha noted that the aircraft fell in a populated area where students and doctors were having their meals, leading to further casualties on the ground.
In a post on X, the minister wrote, "The Flight Data Recorder (Black Box) has been recovered within 28 hours from the accident site in Ahmedabad by AAIB. This marks an important step forward in the investigation. This will significantly aid the enquiry into the incident."
