Speaking to ANI, Raja said that with elections due in the first quarter of 2026, the BJP is making strategic moves to gain a foothold in the state, traditionally dominated by Dravidian parties. "BJP is trying its manipulative ways to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu," he said.
BJP leader Vivek Thakur on Thursday accused Trinamool Congress workers of interfering in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in West Bengal, saying Booth Level Officers are being pressured and prevented from carrying out their duties.

On the ongoing levels of Delhi pollution, AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) Delhi President Saurabh Bhardwaj said on Friday that the "courts are not taking suo muto action, despite knowing that the BJP is involved in manipulating air pollution data."
