Speaking to reporters here, the BJP leader said, "This is 'Loktantra ka mahaparv'. Step out of your houses and vote for the development of Bihar. We appeal to everyone that voting is the biggest right you have. Vote for the development of Bihar."
Condemning the opposition, the BJP leader later said that the claims made by the opposition party are baseless and "don't believe such misleading rhetoric".
The Patna Sahib seat has been a BJP stronghold since 2010, with Nand Kishore Yadav, the current Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, representing the constituency. However, Yadav is not contesting this time, having not received a ticket from the party.
"Today I have come among you to ask who are those people who created an identity crisis for the youth of Bihar? Who are those people who tarnished Bihar's identity?" the BJP leader asked the people while addressing a public rally in Sitamarhi.
