Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader CT Ravi on Wednesday slammed the Congress after Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar apologised for singing the RSS anthem in the State Assembly. He said traitors get mercy from the Congress high command, but not patriots.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader CT Ravi on Tuesday criticised the Congress-led Karnataka government over the murder case of Suhas Shetty, and stated that they give compensation to cow thieves but not to patriots and Hindu activists.
"This budget has neither got certain purpose nor any physical consultation. The state's debt load has increased, and last year's performance was very poor. It is pushing the state into a financial crisis...This is an anti-development budget," Bommai told ANI.

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Saturday refused to comment on the case against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader CT Ravi, stating that since the case is in court, it is "not right" to discuss it.

Advocate MB Jiragi, representing BJP leader CT Ravi, claimed on Friday that despite the BJP leader being arrested under sections 75 and 79 of the BNS, the police have not officially recorded his arrest or presented him before a magistrate, which is a legal requirement.
