MLA NA Harris at the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) on Sunday informed that Congress leader Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar and Congress MLAs would protest at Trinity Circle on January 23 against the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai led Bharatiya Janta Party
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Karnataka has brought development and good governance in those districts which were declared backward by previous governments.
His remark has come in the backdrop of Aaditya Thackeray's statement claiming that the coalition government of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis will fall in the next two months.
As the elections are nearing, the Karnataka congress also launched an advertisement Campaign to attack the Basavaraj Bommai-led BJP government on various issues ranging from 'inflation to fuel prices'.
"In times to come national flag for which many people have sacrificed their lives will be replaced by a saffron flag. BJP snatched our Flag and special status. BJP will replace Indian Constitution and Tiranga Flag with Saffron Flag," Mufti said while attacking the Centre-led BJP Government.
MLC Kavitha also said that even though 13 lakh central government posts are vacant, the BJP government in the Centre has not taken up the appointments.
